Jessica Hische is a designer, illustrator, and typographer living in Brooklyn. She spends her days drawing type and designing prettty things and her late nights working on everything from editorial illustration to handlettering for romance novel covers.

Seeking to rescue the beauty of aboriginal peoples. Kawell takes its name from the Mapudungun, the Mapuche language. Its meaning is Horse, and symbolizes the elemental power of the instincts.
